UNIMA Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi provides custom part manufacturing to customers’ technical drawings, reverse engineering and engineering services. The company was legally established in 2022, building on experience in machining and welded fabrication dating back to 1997. Its Kocaeli production facility was established in 2024, the same year it entered the European market.
The Kocaeli facility was established entirely with UNIMA’s own capital. Production is carried out by the company’s own personnel using its own machine tools and quality control equipment. In-house operations include CNC turning, 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling, wire EDM, keyway machining and some gear cutting operations. Welded machine structures, welded fabrication, hardfacing, reverse engineering, engineering work, quality control and CMM measurement are also carried out here. Polishing, finishing, packaging and dispatch are completed at the facility.
Cylindrical and surface grinding, broaching, the remaining gear cutting operations, heat treatment and surface coating are carried out with specialist external suppliers who comply with UNIMA’s traceability policy. The head office in Istanbul manages sales, purchasing, finance, accounting and human resources.
UNIMA mainly processes metals and engineering plastics, with a production focus on prototypes and low-volume custom parts. Higher-volume and series production projects are evaluated according to project requirements. The main sectors served are iron and steel, cement, recycling and energy; parts are also manufactured for defence, marine and other sectors.
UNIMA mainly serves the European market and customers in Turkey. Some of its manufactured parts also reach the American market through its customers in Europe.

Production and Measurement Infrastructure
Machine motion performance is checked with ballbar tests every six months. Depending on the part and process conditions, dimensional tolerances are evaluated at ±0.01 mm for turning and ±0.02 mm for vertical machining. Order-specific tolerances are confirmed through technical drawing review.
